2024 Hyundai Elantra Recalls & Problems

“Horn has failed 4 times since I bought the car new off the lot I go to honk my horn and nothing again this is my 4 time to take to the dealership and have had them replace it!! VERY DANGEROUS when you have NO HORN!!! Pls look into WHY the horn keeps randomly going out about every 12,000 miles I need a new horn!!!!”

Digital warning alert appears on dash for no reason saying “Consider Taking a Break” even though i consistently keep my car in my lane. Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2024 Elantra, Venue, and Kona vehicles. An electrical short circuit may occur in the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve assembly, which can result in a loss of drive power.

Fix: Dealers will replace the exhaust gas recirculation valve assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 28, 2024. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 260.
